We've been on a Mr Potato Head kick this week, all trying to outdo each other with our silliest creation! This one made the kiddos giggle:)
I got a little shelf/hook at Ikea the other day for Eliana to hang her own things on. The boys already have hooks for their coats, hats and bookbags and Eliana was stealing theirs:) She LOVES this! She was so excited when Daddy hung it up and couldn't wait to put her own things on it.
Today we got the boys' teacher names and class lists in the mail! They were SO excited to open them:) I prayed several times over their teachers this year. You want your child to have a teacher they can connect with and really learn from. Zakkai got Samuel's first grade teacher, Mrs. S! I was thrilled to see that because we just loved her! And Samuel got the teacher he was hoping for! Now, I can't tell you a darn thing about her teaching skills. All I know is that she gives her students a small stuffed animal on the first day of school and that was enough to hook Samuel:) haha. Hope he isn't disappointed!
Our friend, Marissa, who was in Z's class last year and who has declared she is going to marry him when she grows up, was devastated to find out that Z is not in her class this year. She is currently refusing to talk about her class list with her mom....;)
